Does it help defeat that religon towards a civs religous victory. How do I remove a religon when I don't have one i founded myself? I'm worried that because my civ is someone else's religon (i then conquer that civ) but still have their religon. I want my orig pre-religon back.

If you don't found a religion, you can't achieve religious victory. If you conquer a civ's cities, they'll have less faith/ Holy Sites for spreading their religion. If you conquer the civ completely, then they're out've the game, their religion will slowly die.

Wrong. If you defeat a civ that had a religion that religion will not slowly die off. It can still spread from city to city. However, since that religions founder is not in the game that religion can not win a religious victory.
If you don't found your own religion you can't build Inquisitors to remove any religion. Same goes for having another religion completely convert your own religion. In other words your religion died off and there's no way to bring it back.
Be mindful though it is possible to actually lose a game if you take over too many converted cities.

There is still passive spread from cities and trade routes. Or you could even build your own missionaries and apostles to spread it even further in an effort to prevent another religion from winning

You only get the follower beliefs if someone else spreads their religion to your city

yes. tithe is a follower belief so any city that has that religion will benefit from it

No it isn't. Tithe is a bonus giving golf from every believer to the owner of the Religion, it is not a bonus giving a ctiy-based bonus.

yeah that was a tought so I will never have that bonus unless i found a religion that have this faith bonus .. dam how do you get any religion them a level 8 tit almost imposible unless you play a saladin.

i always use rome for the already connected capital to road and the temple free. i guess i will never have a religion
