For a moment Sean Bean turned in to Sharpe
"Never criticise a riflemen until you've walked a mile in his shoes, that way he will be barefoot and you will be out of range."

They keep showing episodes of Sharpe on TV while I'm playing Civ so it's like having Sharpe in 3D, I couldn't help but chuckle when I got the Ranger technology for the first time and heard Sean utter the above quote :D Now every time I get a research or civic breakthrough I can see Richard Sharpe narrating it with a burly Irishman standing behind him :D

In the expansion pack they should do an advsiors screen (like the short video clips they had in Civ 2)
They could have a milatry advsior...... Sean Bean, dressed in rifleman clothes

Then also have; Culture advsior, Science advsior, and trade advsior maybe a religious advisor, and they all argure in your parliment how you should focus your game!!!

I do actually miss having advisers, they were useful when arguing the merits of a particular technology or civic.

I agree...kind of.

The victory screen has been improved, and mostly takes the place. For example, the main think I used mine for was to find out how my army was compared to the other players, now I can see it in the victory screen. It would be nice, but I think there are other parts of the game which they should focus on which would be a better investment of their time
