Why are there 4 “Fort Boyard” games and why are they all the same? What is the point, what is the history of these games and their problems/conflicts?

In Fort Boyard game version 2019 there was an online leaderboard inside the game where you could see other people nicknames and how much they got Boyards. This new version of the game is good, but it NEEDS the same online leaderboard, as in 2019 version of Fort Boyard, because there are almost no motivation to play in the game over and over again. It would've been nice to have some sort of competition against other players in how much Boyards you got in one game....

Im thinking of picking this game up but would like to know if its 4 player co op? Thank!

Still its kinda sucks that you gonna need to pay for the same game FOURTH time now but at least this version is gonna be the best one with new game mechanics from France TV version of the show.
