Star Scum Demo OpenGL Version Released

The custom engine Star Scum uses was developed as a future-facing platform that takes advantage of modern GPU features and was primarily developed using the Vulkan API. After getting a number of reports of the game not running on some older hardware, I have added an OpenGL renderer to the engine, which should work on a much wider variety of platforms.

If you had trouble running the game previously or experienced any sorts of glitches, please try the new "OpenGL" launch option, which should hopefully work for everyone!

If the new version still doesn't work for you, please update your graphics drivers, and if it doesn't work after that, please report a bug in the Steam Discussion Forums or the game's Discord server (https://discord.com/invite/7PTCf4sCP6).

First and foremost this is great work. The game does a very good job of turning alot of the rogulike card game troupes on there head. Here is some feedback from my play. I think you are on to something here and so I wanted to give some honest feedback. Im a veteran STS, MTG, and Table top player so this game checks alot of boxes for me. Bug, Softlock on 2nd ai turn of tutorial fight

I Spawned in a couple robots and batteries first turn, one of my robots was shot first ai turn and they placed a pirate, my second turn I shot pirate and sent my two robots over and placed an engineer. Second ai turn they sent the injured pirate to my ship and attacked a battery for one damage and placed another pirate next to their core. At this point two things are going on. The screen is saying ai is thinking and the tutorial overlay is telling me that I can spend command points to draw cards. I cant d...

It is supposed to close down at the wormhole?

The question is pretty much asked in the title: defeated the boss, selected the wormhole... game closes itself. I am using the Vulkan version. I know it is a demo, but it sounds a little abrupt of an ending? Anyway, loving the game so far!
