yeah guessing by the trailer looks like it may be a woke mess but i guess fable has always been kind of silly. Im even fearing you wont be able to choose male character. And its scarier that its been so long and we have 0 gameplay footage. Maybe fable 4 is the friends we made along the way

I'm just picking, so hopefully no offence.

When a game gives me actual customization, I don't mind showcasing my abomination. I'll even look for mods that hide helmets, because the world need to see the anger of a vengeful god. If I don't get to choose, helmets don't bother me as much.

I doubt they'll give you such a choice these days. At best, you'll be choosing between a woman and a non-binary person who'll be pressured to only romance men the entire game.

I'll be glad to be wrong, but we've already seen these so-called "male" characters in Dragon Age: Genderguard and Awoked.

i think they look fine in Avowed. though not having any short beards kinda sucked lol. I play a male character there though. Didn't make a female.

Big Fable fan and have all the games. The only way I'll be playing the new Fable is if it's available on gamepass. If not, I'll be waiting until it becomes a bargain bin title - which probably won't take long.

When I saw the trailers and saw that the MC's face literally looks like Shrek, that pretty much told me all I needed to know about the main priorities of the game and it has nothing to do having fun.

Honestly i would prefer not to. but it saves me money for games i do not enjoy as much or just don't have the money at that moment to buy

Wow. Making such an appearance-based judgement, just from a trailer? The game's not even released yet, and you're making a judgement call on its quality just because you think it MIGHT be woke. Y'know, back in 1996, there was a game released that many people today would have called "woke", just because the protagonist of the game was a woman. But guess what? Nobody cared about that. Indeed, the controversy it spawned was because a bunch of people thought she was TOO attractive. But it created a franchise that's still going strong today, because people thought the game was genuinely fun. That game? Tomb Raider.

Even BEFORE that, there was another female protagonist in a Nintendo series who fulfills a lot of the requirements for what pearl-clutchers consider "woke". She was tough, she could fight, and she traveled the galaxy fighting space pirates and deadly parasprites. Indeed, she became so famous in part because it was a complete surprise that the character was a women. Know who I'm talking about yet? Every gamer should know, because it's Samus Aran.

So if your gripe about the upcoming Fable is because the protagonist is a woman, you REALLY need to get caught up on your video-game history.
