Very last page so far has a few fix ideas, none of which have worked for me but might be worth a try
If nothing appears after selecting the game in Steam, try running the .exe file in the local folder.
If it runs there it is a missing Steam.api issue. Verifying the game's cache or simply copying the
file from another game's local folder should fix that.
Hopefully this will work for some.
Unfortunately it did not work for me.
I ended up only getting a pop.up window saying "The program couldn't start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the program."
I don't know how many times I've re-installed this game on differnt locations on my PC. Still no cigar..
Windows update? Who knows. Quite a few people happened to have the same problem but it didn't seem to be the result of the latest patch. Users seemed to be having issues around the same time which made me think it lied on those users' ends.
The Game will work in online mode and ran fine after I did that so it was because windows 10 again that is worst windows ever... Check this fix to see if the game will run it worked for me I'm hyped now at least I got my money's worth now.
So apparantly my "My Documents" automatically saved on to my Onedrive for some reason.. SO what I did was to right click on Onedrive > Settings > Backup > Manage Backup and then uncheck the "Documents" folder. This will let Fable save to your computer rather than the cloud. Now Fable started as normally. And if I wanted my old save files back I could just go to the My Documents folder > My Games > Fable HD and then copy the "Saves" file over to the new "Fable HD" on the new My Documents folder on my local drive.
Hope this helps for others!
