Not seeing trolls in Greatwood or nymphs, bandits have steel weapons on Heroic.
Playing on Heroic mode, I think. Is there an easy way to tell if I'm on Heroic mode? I got 2 hit killed by a bandit, but his weapon looked like a steel one and I think I saw a resurrrection phial in a shop (that was unavailable, couldn't buy).

If you go to the main menu and press Change Hero, your current profile should display whether you are on Heroic mode or Chicken mode.

Heroic is still being improved and some have reported ressurection phials still being in the game (I didn't come across any though).

Cool, thanks. Nice to hear it's still being improved.

BTW I can't see what mode I'm on in the Change Hero options - though I believe I saw some bandits with Obsidian weapons and a nymph in Greatwood Lake.

If they have obsidian you're on Heroic and you're right: can't see Heroic mode anywhere, even at the profile section. Really odd.
One thing that I just remembered, in Heroic an exploit was removed in an earlier patch:

"Removed ability to farm gold by selling houses with trophies"

^ If you can't perform that exploit; you're on Heroic.

I DEFINITELY see bandits with master weapons, so pretty sure I'm on Heroic - though it'd be nice if they did more damage. I think everything needs a health/damage buff...

Lionhead can't into balance, that's for sure. But this is a decent start, I guess.

Well they made slow time nowhere near as useful as it began but it's true, the game mode needs a lot of work.

Still a lot more fun IMO than the original difficulty but I don't want simple health/damage buffs unless they're wisely implimented. Game could become more of a grindfest then :>
