temple quest issues

has anyone had trouble collecting their rewards from the temple of light and the chapel of skorm? I donate gold to the temple of light and get no rewards. So far i've donated about 500k gold without recieving anything but good points. I'm having a similar issue with the chaple of skorm as well.

In the temple of light you need to donate around 50,000-70,000 gold a few minutes before the in-game midday to get the great-mace weapon and with the temple of skorm all you need to do is sacrifice a mercenary a few minutes before a midnight on the in-game sunday. You start the game on a sunday so go for days in game for 6, then just sacrifice the follower just before it hits the midnight of in-game day 7. Not sure which day for the temple of light... i just got it randomly but yeah, try each day just before a proper midday and you should be fine ^_^

Well, lets say for The Temple of Avo your alignment is +30 or more it would take 100-300k in one go to get the weapon, but if it was -30 or more it would take 45000-50000, it doesn't matter what time of day it is. (save before donating to try different amounts)

As for the Chapel of Skorm just like in the comment above it would be a sacrifice a couple of minutes before midnight, although when your already evil it's a little trickier but if you have +30 good it would give a better chance to earn it. (easier to save before sacrificng)

i was full good with a halo when i got my great-mace for only 60,000 gold, it's all about the time of day really... but yeah, that other guy does make a good point!

I am also nearly positive that the donnations to the temple of light are supposed to substract a few years on your "age".

I was just writing whats in the quide, whatever works works hopefully he will try yours first.

On another note though time does hold a factor for the Temple of light in Fable II so he should definitely try 60k before 300k otherwise he will lose some gold.

Yeah it has a chance to reduce 10 years, i usually donate 750-1000 gold for the age reduction.

constant donations will also give you the title Paladin

regular high profile sacrifices gives you the title Necromancer from the temple of skorm lol, midnight donations are best there!

I've never been able to sacrafice anyone. I'm no good at being an evil player :>)

Presented with the choice, I'll always try to go down the good or most humane path.

same here, but i wanted the other side of the achievements so that it looks cooler in game when viewing it all XD

Pretty sure that if you donate 320 000 gold , you lll get the mace , and the time wouldnt matter.

I tried multiple large amounts at noon and didn't get the mace, being a full good aligned hero. After a few attempts I went with the usual 330,000 gold at noon and got the mace, which was the amount needed in a single donation for a good hero and 33,000 was the amount for an evil hero.

the way they set this up is so that certain days give a better donation rating, like sundays are the best for sacrifices to skorm, its not just time of day but also day of the week...

100% good and I have gotten the weapon 100% of the time by donating 75k (while also being successful with anything above 50k). None of these times were when the sun portion of the clock was fully on the top. Of course, I've also never had any luck getting the title first in Anniversary so maybe there is something to it.

That didn't fit into my work schedule so I just threw hundreds of thousands down
