demons in the archeologist quest
They are so OP its a joke. can block even with their backs, and they constantly block, plus there's a 5 minute time limit in the final area. spells do laughably low damage, and i just can't kill them in time.

I am stuck...

I loved that mission in the original, not there yet in this one. Leg it to the dock and get stuck in with the massed crowd of minions...great fun!

If it makes you feel better, you can also block with your back.

You only have to kill the two mage Minions near the archaeologist, because the quest ends when you are alone on the dock with the Archaeologist. Run down there and kill them quickly, before the horde catches up.

Flourishes and Multistrike break guard. I think Berserk might also. Get more exp or stop putting your XP into crappy skills.

What weapons do you have?
I haven't tried heroic mode, but I know a few ways to get some decent legendary weapons without fighting.
You might not be able to get the buyable ones (Idk if the heroic mode nerfs the tricks to get money), but some of them require almost no effort whatsoever.

By the time I got to the dock quest, I had fully max strength and skill, and at least level 2 of every spell and max mana. I mained archer using Skorm's Bow, rarely melee'd, and used physical shield, heal, multi-arrow, summon, and stop time as my main spells.

How did you end up with a crappy skill set unless you are on heroic and have never played before, cause you play once and learn how the skills all work together and THEN play heroic knowing how to maximize the lowered XP gains.

Beserk will break through, or multi strike. Phys shield will prevent you from being knocked down, Assassin rush will work a large percent of the time, and ofc slow time being op as balls.

As for grinding, quests are definitely not needed. Even if you don't have physical shield, you can easily mix slow time and a bow (multi arrow optional) and build up a large multiplier. 5-10 minutes of that at your point in the game should be enough to level any spell to at least 3.

I think the tip about just killing the guarding ones will help, thx. because i only have 1 minute left to kill the guardians, and they just block, and block and block :D

Especially on heroic, you should be putting points into skills that have synergy. Aka, only have 1 or 2 spells that hit enemies, 1 or 2 that protects you and 1 or 2 that work as support. Even that is a little overboard, but having multiple damage spells is pointless since you can't cast both at the same time.

Multi-strike is your friend. I'm considering it the most OP spell in the game now. I haven't come across a single enemy that a maxed Multi-strike hit didn't knock them to the ground. Cast it every chance you can during fights and your dps is insane. I also don't know if I have incredible luck, or it's unblockable, because I can't remember a time that I've had a Multi-strike blocked.

Berserk maxed is also op as hell on bosses, it isn't really as good on weaker enemies since they always drop to the ground which means you'll have to wait a second or two till they get up.

Why not both? If the values are the same as TLC. Maxing both will deal 750% damage per hit.
