I think the tip about just killing the guarding ones will help, thx. because i only have 1 minute left to kill the guardians, and they just block, and block and block :D
doesn't help, you can't hit them until they get up, but they insta block on getting up :|
Its 5 min on heroic, never played the game before.
i don't think these are balverines, they have magic, and swords and wear clothing :D
Or roll behind and hit them after dodging their attack?
I roll ye, but its not really 100% as they have quick attacks and turn around quickly.
Im gonna try one more time then use the run and kill just the guardians tactic.
I even rushed to the archeologist to kill just the guards as somoene suggested, and it didn't work.
all the enemies followed me there and time ran out while i was rolling around trying to get a few hits in the back.
Up until this point the game was borderline casual, and now i can't pass this part :D
Spells are severely underpowered, and pretty much useless. takes me like 3 full mana bars to zap 2 enemies to death. that's literally over 1 minute of constant zapping.
if you know what you are doing, it's feasible to get around a 20x multiplier, and there are a few things that can net you tons of experience, for any of the three kinds.
Some foods give red experience, doing profit with merchant trading for yellow, and spamming spells like summon for blue (very low mana cost after the initial cast).
If you have a decently high multiplier, getting the experience is really not that hard.
To get such multipliers, the hobble cave is a good early one (doesn't have merchants), the bandit camp also has quite a few targets.
But if you are aiming for the yellow experience, then the road between the first two cities is what you should aim for. Just confirm that there is a "goods" trader in the area, wipe of the enemies, trade for profit (buying/selling lots of potions appears to work decently for a fast profit), and profit from both extra money and lots of yellow experience.
