Try trolling harder.

Nope. Fable doesn't looks like Skyrim. Skyrim looks like Fable.

Not to derail this thread but I found Skyrim similarly overrated. It wasn't even an RPG really. Fable's closer to an RPG and while it's not as open-worldish, it's quite fun to play and unique in its own right.

Um sorry I beg to differ.

Play Skyrim and then try to play Fable. Hate it or love it, Skyrim is an open world rpg. In Skyrim the main quest is optional, the game is not on a rail. I once spent six hours just exploring. Unlike the lionhead developers, Skyrim supports a mouse in inventory and main menu....while still supporting mods, the fable developers found that to be an impossible feat.

definitely not the same, but both are nice game. hahaha

Not at all. Plus, it looks nothing like Skyrim, unless you're talking about a fantasy medieval setting, in which case at least 50% of all RPGs look like Skyrim.

Then, once you find out that the modding community had to write a workable inventory interface for Skyrim (SkyUI), because Bethesda is too incompetent to fix their own games, you'll end up downloading a ton of mods that make Skyrim the game that Bethesda wishes they could really write.

All Bethesda games have notoriously short Main Stories, it's open world because if you follow the main story in a Bethesda game, you'll finish it around 15-20 minutes

I played Skyrim at launch, for 8 hours straight. I have seen this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3863/?. I have never used it, and my game plays just fine (arrow in the knee aside.) I know about Skyrims short comings and have complained about them, but let's get real, fable is to skyrim as whip cream is to a pile of turd(fyi Fable: A is the turd). You can compare Skyrim to far cry 2 and 3, Fallout 3 and new Vegas. I own Fable anniversary, and it's a piece of crap

Don't listen to this...it takes much longer to do one dungeon...much longer. and after almost 3 years i am and a whole lot more are still playing it.

i see no way how this game can be compared to a hiking simulator.
