How the hell do I get this bow? I watched a video on youtube about making the sacrifice at 6am for good characters, but the dude just says it was a pathetic donation :( I'm 100% good if that makes a diffrence.

Ok, so best sacrifice is one of the beefy mercenaries, that's either Twinblade's Camp or the Temple of Avo.

Mercenaries take pay every hour, so use this to tell midnight, it'll be the middle of the night clock and he will take money, you may also hear someone randomly say 'Light's out you horrible lot!' in the distance.

It is also best done on saturday night, as in midnight on a sunday morning. You can tell this by checking the days passed on your hero profile in stats. Day 0 is a sunday, 6 days passed is a saturday, then 13, 20, 27, etc. Just add 7 to these numbers to get each saturday. Or if it's one less than a multiple of 7.

And make sure you are GOOD. The higher your good alignment, the more points you get for sacrificing. You need 600 points in one sacrifice to guarantee, however it's quite common over 500 but you run the risk of getting the title or youth instead.

Now, once it's saturday, are holier than the pope, and you have a beefy mercenary, go to the Chapel of Skorm. It should be a few hours before midnight, or early on in the dark half of the clock. SAVE.

Now wait for the middle of the night, and the second the mercenary takes his pay sacrifice him. You should hear "Your desire for my evil influence is most gratifying" from the guy you sacrifice to and get over 500-600 points. If you don't get this, or you do but not the bow, reload your save.


Congrats, you now have the best ranged weapon in the game.

Can you get it with multiple sacrifices or does it have to be one in one go?

You need to get that many points from a single person sacrificed.

If i remember correctly you need to sacrifice 2 people around midnight then you get the bow.

You sacrifice the character at Midnight
I hire the bodyguard at Twin Blades camp, sacrifice him at Midnight (with my good character) and get the bow
Also needs to be Saturday to Sunday Midnight.

Sundays are always multiples of 7, so head to the temple on 6, 13, 20 etc...and sacrifice at midnight

The way I got it is by sacrificing 1 of the 2 traders in the escort quest. Once you reach the witchwood trader camp, tell one of them to wait and take the other with you. Once you are there, wait till about just alittle bit before midnight, then sacrafice him. Be sure to save when you get into the chaple of Skorm, since its kinda random how much points you get.

Just got it, wasn't even good nor full evil. Sacrified a slightly damaged merc from twinblades. +390 Evil

That's how I always get it, no matter what my alignment is

I timed it with the way the Merc charges you for services. I made sure to skip the cutscene with Y through everything i could too.

The first bodyguard from Bowerstone at Sat/Sun midnight gave 900+ evil points and a bow. Previous attempt with him but a bit after midnight gave 240+.
Use heal magic to heal them before sacrificing.

If you go to the Chapel of Skorm first, and then teleport away, once you've gotten a Merc you should be able to 'recall' teleport right back to the Chapel - saves you wandering around and your Merc taking damage.
