You can scan the running game for any values, for example the number of your potions or your health. (You have to scan multiple with different values, to get the right variables to edit. There are tutorials out there.) Once you got the right variables you can edit them, which should help you get through the fight. ;)
No they aren't.
But you will have to manually open them. And gamehard has to be renamed to game so it references the the defs.

Thank you so much!! i downloaded the engine and found on the programs forums a script someone made that runs a few cheats for the game such as 1 hit kills, i just used it quickly to kill Jack and now im onto TLC storyline!
i honestly had no idea you can already edit the game and mod it this way, thanks alot haha im not a fan of really editing games, its just I accidently got myself stuck and needed to get out!
you are indeed right my bad, i just assumed so because i couldnt load any of its program files into Fable explorer, my old original pc release of fables files can only be accessed with it, but this is no surprise to me, the programs old and for the original fable
i actually do save my game often to avoid these things, i was just up late playing one night, was half asleep and carelessly did the final quest before you fight jack for the first time and realized pretty quickly i was trapped and had no choice but to fight him. and weirdly enough my previous save states got saved over somehow so -_- that really screwed it over for me.
If so, is it possible to lock the appearance that way, so further changes would be nullified?
I mean, I like the inches just fine until my guy is 7'2", and the muscles become an issue towards the end, when you're basically the hulk. Age is a factor as well (and so are the blue markings, although I've never myself dabbled deep enough in Will to notice them)...
IT might a vain question to ask, but the game says that narcissism is common among heroes ;)

I don't think it will help the OP with his problem or alter specific items.
But values which are changing during play should be editable.
I am just wondering why this article was posted in Xbox360 forum when it is clearly only for PC use.
So if you went through the training and tutorial right before you start the first quest (wasp queen), feel free to use that savegame for your further progress:

My experience with Fable was similar to the creator of the guide. I already played months on Fable TLC. So I don't see any bad thing in setting up a char in the way I want for a singleplayer game like Fable Anniversary (or FableHD as the savegame folder is called).
To change the 'build' of your character, there are bone allocation files.
Fable Anniversary > WellingtonGame > FableData > Build > Data > Bones
hero_berzerk.bncfg hero_fat.bncfg hero_strong. bncfg hero_strong_tall.bncfg
hero_tall.bncfg hero_teen.bncfg hero_weak.bncfg hero_young_set.bncfg
For instance, replace hero_strong & hero_strong_tall with hero_weak and you can have a max skill & max strength hero with the height of hero_tall and not the bulk of hero_strong_tall.
Personally, I replaced all hero.bncfg files with hero_tall. However, doing this, your character will be double the height of guards when maxed skill, maxed strength, and maxed fat.
*NOTE* From personal experience, it is best to start a new character for this modified bone structure. Where it may slightly alter the character, the only way to get the best possible results is with an un-modified bone structure on the character before starting to physically change it. I.E. No physique, no accuracy.
To remain 18, use this: https :/mrantifun.net/index.php?threads/fable-anniversary-trainer.1850/
*Be sure to use the cheat, leave it active, save, and reboot the game. The age will be 18.
I have no idea about the removal of the physical appearance effects of high Will usage without editting the texture & particle files, which only works in the 'MODDED' version of Fable Anniversary, which disables achievements.
Hope this helped. Sorry for the necropost.
Don't. Use. This. Software.
It has special built in malware that will give them direct access through firewall exceptions to your computer.
That is absolute rubbish. Cheat engine DOES NOT have built in malware and tens-of-thousands of people use it. It uses the same structure that malware uses to allow you to cheat in games, which is why it gets flagged by crappy virus and malware checkers. Now if you were advising him to not use it because you could potentially screw up your save, that might be valid, which is why most people using cheats like this back up their save first.
