Fight bare fisted?
how is this done?

The devs should upload a series of youtube videos for explaining these things the menus like binding emotes to the directional pad are also very difficult to master. I have yet to figure it out. Maybe its useless using the emotes, no other game uses them so guess it doesnt matter.

It depends on the Control Scheme you have. You need to use either KB+Mouse or Traditional Control then press attack while your weapon is sheathed.

shealth your weapon, then press the attack button

It's that simple :ss13ok:

every time my weapon is sheethed as soon as I attack it unsheaths the weapon. The game made me switch my control scheme, guess with each enemy this is required going to change my review to a negative one that is very annoying switching the control scheme for each enemy.

I'm guessing this is related to using a controller because I haven't had this issue nor have I heard it reported before?

Yep sounds like you're using the Fable 2/3 inspired control scheme where melee, ranged and magic have their own buttons(Fist fighter boast requires you to use the traditional control scheme).

Its a controller issue, the game seems not made for controllers, thought it was. Each enemy requires changing the control scheme it seems to dodge means going through the menu and selecting one control scheme then pause it go to menu and change control scheme to attack, it makes no sense.

YOU, quoted from another thread where you were telling everybody who was complaining about the mouse and keyboard support to to buy a controller, that was obviously until YOU had problems with using a controller...

what ? you don't need to use a diff control scheme for each fight what are you on about ?
if you want to fist fight you need original controls, yes but if you have a controler then that is the only way to play imho. playing Fable 1 with the controls of 2 + 3 just feels wrong and the only positive about KB + M is that you can assign lots of stuf to num buttons.

Its more the game but either way having a controller isnt bad if it works, but in this game it seems broken for both haha, that isnt a good thing :P

Except in the current beta build keyboard keys are remappable now.
So, I'm all set.
Enjoy your controller

Meh this game seems to suck everything is to complicated even mapping things and healing a follower requires to many menus. Stayed true to its classic roots that way being over complicated but that isnt a good thing :P

Kinda sounds like you're just bad at the game tbh. I use a controller with the Fable 2/3 control scheme and it's not complicated at all. Healing a follower requires no menus at all. Lock on to follower, cast heal. To fight with fists, just change to the other controller scheme. Don't knock the game just because you're bad at it. I've spent a couple hours with each control scheme (both controller layouts and KB+M) and they all work fine for me.

That is true, it seems my skills with the game are quite bad due to the difficulty.

Weren't you one of the people claiming that people shouldn't complain about the MkB control scheme and to just use a controller?

Yes, he/she was, and I've been slowly sipping the delicious irony, from a long-stemmed ruby encrusted goblet, since this thread was created
