Scars appear unrealisticly fast
I have just graduated at my guild, the only real fight I had was with whisper, I got the achievement as quiet as a whisper ( meaning I took no damage from whisper ). Besides that I practised archery and willpower on wooden dolls. And finally I fought Maze (who did not fight back). So can someone explain to me why my face has 5 ugly huge scars on it even though i did not even take a single hit of damage?

The devs put the original game's scar system into ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ overdrive. Every hit you take you gain a scar, instead of the original system of gaining a scar when you die, so now it's practically impossible to make it even halfway through the game without your face looking like a Picasso painting.

I made it through the Hero Guild area without getting hit but I still had scars by the time I started the main game.

That was only Fable 2 and 3, TLC had it on hits... but it wasn't nearly as sensitive as it is in Anniversary.

Yep, I was mistaken on gaining scars when you die, you can also gain it on being hit, but it was pretty rare. I was unlucky and got hit by whisper only once during training and got a scar on my face in my first playthrough of the original fable.

The old system earned you a scar every time you got knocked to the ground - not just through dying. Was a pain in the ass, but definitely nothing compared to now.

actually it is exactly the same as the original you always had a chance to gain a scar from being attacked. this isnt fable 2

but I did not get hit, not even once. I did block some of whispers attacks.. does blocking count towards getting scars then?

Levelling up counts for scars I think. I heard someone hadn't levelled up in the first game so he wouldn't get scars.

it was down through my eye and down my cheek. I almost stopped playing because of it. I noticed it when at the cut scene right before you get to the guild. I think all my scars look cool now. I do the boasts without any armor all the time because i have chest scars.

I'd really like if they had those Scar Vanishing Potions from Fable II
