If this was in Linux, I'd probably have it working by now. I made sure my drivers and MSupdate were up to date, except for some optionals. Tried checking compatibilty, which recommended XP SP2 settings, which didn't work.

I'm curious as to how some of the people on the forums posted about this and are now in the game. Anyone able to comment on how they resolved this issue?
Running as admin helped none. No disk errors for me though.
I think this might be the culprit, why some people creat a new profile and it works, etc.
I am fearful of attempting this on my machine, because of my network set-up.
