no "hero save" key trick?

I saw somewhere that they fixed the hero saves? So you can't get extra keys to open the usual chest AND get Bereaver or any of the other little tricks? There were never any major game cheating tricks to begin with. The hero save was the only exploit in the game. The sacrificing your follower at midnight and the buy/sell tricks were game mechanics (built into the game for you to find) not exploits and they wiped out those in hard mode. Seriously finding exploits in a game is half the fun. All of you purist players can stop clenching your but tocks and lying to yourselves and admit this is true we've ALL used them at one point. Not to mention all the bragging rights you get for finding one. I just totally wasted my money. I could have gotten TLC for 10$ had more fun, taken a trip back in time and lost nothing but some eye candy. Face it HD is not the real reason you want to dredge up an old game. It's reliving a bit of fun, seeing if you can remember all the shortcuts and beating it faster than you used to. Personally I'm already disappointed, I'll just play through it once, that won't take long, suck up the 20$ loss for not just getting TLC and go back to skyrim that I've been playing for months and still haven't gone through all the caves and ruins yet.

Game is running on UE3. If you really wanna ruin the fun of finding silver keys, there's more than likely a console command you can use.

If you only care about buying a game again to prove that you can still remember everything and can stomp the game easily, then what is the problem with that save-exploit being fixed, since if you feel all-so-good about knowing the game already, why don't you just find every silver key?

That's pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rude. If you buy a game, especially a single player one, you should have every right to modify it and play it however you wish. If I want to hack the game and give myself 999999999 gold I should be able to, if I want to mod the game to have assault rifles instead of bows I should be allowed. It's none of your damn business how other people enjoy playing their games because it doesn't effect you.

Just look for a trainer or use cheat engine I suppose, there might even be a table release once the game has been out for a day or two.

And just in case you trolls weren't paying attention you need all the keys you find PLUS 30 keys to get Bereaver. I find all the keys, it's just nice to have the weapon too. Trolls really need to learn to read. It's not a God Mode cheat to begin with and apparently ya'll just had to clinch your but tocks over the comment after all. Hypocrits.

I remember that exploit(or as I like to call it "Clever use of game mechanics"). Man I'm so looking forward to playing this again. Fable is my favorite game.

I see where you're coming from and agree that it was fun and interesting to find and utilize the exploits, but the fact that them taking them out was the last straw and now you've "totally wasted [your] money". I mean, really? That's the make-or-break? :\

You should really learn what "troll" means instead of just throwing that term around. You sound like DarkSydePhil and his favorite word "hater." You don't need another 30 keys to get Bereaver. You hand over any keys you've collected, (even if you haven't collected any) walk in and open a chest...
