I know right?! It beats Witcher 3 in everything INCLUDING graphics.
Seriously though... I don't get how Witcher 3 won GotY. I normally really enjoy RPGs, and I have tried every single Witcher game as they came out because people rant about them and I find them impossible to enjoy... obvoiusly I am in the minority, it is just unusual for me to be in the minority regarding RPGs...
I read the first three Witcher books, and in the books he is a completely different type of character, very principled.
that's very weird, fable's protagonist is an embodiment of blandness. game just keeps saying to you that you are a hero, that's it. hero this, hero that... and what's even weirder... in fable the protagonist is voiceless at all. and it's not wrong or right... that's how this game meant to be.
i think, it's a perfect example of someone subconsciously (or intentionally?) taking "warm fuzzy feeling" experienced while playing for quality.
