Not that there's anything wrong with this though. Fable: The Lost Chapters specifically is one of my favorite games I've ever played.
sorry for my bad English

It's more like "open hub"
No, Skyrim is open world (it isn't an RPG, but it is open world). Borderlands 2, however, is not open world...altho many people would like to claim that it is.
This game isn't open world either.
If you get a loading screen when going from area A to area B then that means it's semi-open world, not open world.
Open world would mean that there's no loading screens at all. The game might load when you enter a city in Skyrim, but you won't see a loading screen.
Sure, the dungeons get a little screen but dungeons and the world are two totally different things.
If FABLE and Borderlands are open world then you might aswell claim that Super Mario: Bros is a 2D open world game. It just has a little loading screen between stages but other than that you're free to roam the side-scrolling world, right ? Same logic applies here.
Witcher 2 was semi-open world for example. You could travel around in the hub you were in, but couldn't go back to areas you visited before (each chapter had a hub, if I remeber right), whereas in Fable or Borderlands, you can travel freely across areas you already visited and even visit and explore new ones.
someone that got my question^^ but anyways thanks for all the replys :)
My concern is that if i beat the game and there is nothing left to do that i will never touch this game again. Thats why i don't buy games that offer not enough freedom and tasks to do.
Skyrim was sth i really loved played 300 hours + but i guess i cant compare it with Fable.
It's not open world though. You get different pieces of linear path, with some side paths that you don't really need to visit. Also you'll be revisiting areas because of quests/hubs etc.
But you can't just go whatever direction you please, you are in a small map which has 2-4 exits into other small maps.
