One thing I dislike about the karma systems in games is that they seem to want to get you to fill up on full evil or full good, and I just don't see things that way. So, I will forgo attempting to get bonuses through intentionally grinding out good or evil and my character will be something like me. I guess I'm interested to see where on this scale that will be.
That all said, in the character spectrum, I feel that I identify towards the Chaotic Neutral portion of the spectrum. So, I'd imagine I'll end up in the middle of the binary system somewhere. I would enjoy it if games started adding Law and Chaos into the mix in future titles.
I'm thinking a good guy with muscles and some magic powers, and of course a big sword, and an evil fellow that is skinny and pale looking, using bows and the most nasty will powers (a painful death for these boring Avo worshippers!)
The evil guy will befriend all the prooooostitutes. (come on, censoring that word?)
but doing evil things in games always makes me depressed in real life. i feel guilty about stuff like that.
I believe that Fable 2 had something like that.
I could be wrong, but I think there were two sliders based on your choices. Good and evil, and then one similar to chaotic and order.
I always end up somewhere in the middle as well. :) But it's always fun to see what kind of differences that leaning towards one affinity will create.
I think that Fable 2 did an excellent job in this perspective. You could see the streets clean up if you made good choices. Brothels turned to daycares, etc. Felt like you had a major impact on the world.
Day cares?
jeez.. what a waste
