Wow, just wow.
How does a game as bad and uninspired as Fable get a $30 re-release in 2014. Seriously. There are so many good games that could use this kind of treatment, yet we get the worst of the worst.

I've never seen another developer as full of himself as Peter Molyneux.

I chuckled at this.

Remember, this is being published by Microsoft, so this port has probably been pushed right out the door and is waiting to be tested for PC. Looks like all you pre-purchasers get to be unpaid beta testers as well. Yet another reason why gamers should smarten up when buying games published by companies like Microsoft (EA, Activision, Ubisoft, etc.) Oh, and the fact still remains --- This game is 10 years old! Should be a GOG.com game, and it probably will be one later this year - at which point they'll sell it for $9.99.

And your acting like this will be the only game on the Planet that will have post-launch issues? Its PC my friend, Games always have issues! Consoles on the other hand. other than being faced with low FPS and just decent graphics I never had one issue with a game for console unless it was something to do with multiplayer (usually server-wise). Console games are Maintained and Launch a lot beter because Consoles are only one type of Setup. Computer combinations can add up to the Billions. You tell me how easy it is to Optimise a Brand new game Let alone a Remastered one, when your accounting for at least Millions and millions of setup combos, as opposed to just one. Lol

Well, to be honest there's "the good" and "the bad" path. That's some replayability I think.

I agree - price point is to high for me.

Remember your paying for the game and DLC (they say its free but we all know that it is in the price)

You can still buy the original fable on steam for like 2.99. So go buy that cheap ass.

Exactly.

Rather than buy the affordable version.

Trolls hate because they want a lower price.

No, people question because this is a remake of a remake of an old-ass game so the price point seems a little suspect.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/204030/ This is the direct port of the original Fable that only costs $10. The anniversary addition has been completely remodeled and textured, that's why it costs so much.

why all the fuss about fable! it was only ok! today I would rather buy skyrim complete edtion and its still cheaper than fable! goner buy maps for b4! if you never played a fable game then you might wanna buy it but what about fable 2 and 3! could go on for ages! fable for kids! skyrim for men!

I disagree, GoG has standards that prevent them from bringing this garbage to their store.

This game is great, but buy it again just because of new graphics while all the same experience... Pfft, no, thank you.

People that have played the original wanted a refresh. This came on the xbox and has stuttering issues, which the PC version should avoid. It is expensive, but the main thing that concerns me is that they're clearly planning on reissuing and charging for DLC. That seems excessive for a game that pretty much every original purchaser already has bought. A bit of a slap in the face really, when paying £30 for a revamped old game.
