Lost chapters, while not as good looking in the texture department, is just more crisp and clean looking.
What ever version you buy though, You will enjoy the hell out of it.
Depends on what version you played. Did you play the original xbox release, that wasn't 100% finished (like me). Or did you buy TLC a year or so later.
TLC (The Lost Chapters) has extra content that was cut from the game due to time constraints.
That said, after rereading your original post again, the game still pretty much ends at the end.
edit: Anniversary also has this extra content btw
Otherwise if cost is an issue and using the mouse and keyboard is your preferred option, it is pretty much a similar game so Fable the Lost Chapters would work for you.
As for bugs and glitches, most issues with Fable Anniversary has been fixed and patched since launch.
In addition Fable Anniversary also have additional dlcs providing extra weapons and costume choices that is not available on Fable the Lost Chapters. They are not necessary to enjoy or finish the game but provides options to those who would like to change their character's attire or have more variety in their weapons or armor.
Both Fable Anniversary and their dlcs are on sale right now at 75% off, so now would be a good time to buy them if cost is an issue.
(evil characters look kinda goofy in anniversary edition)
