Obtaining bowerstone houses

As I just started playing this game again I was wondering what houses you can purchase in bowerstone. After googling for hours it seems that you're only able to own the tavern, hairdresser and another shop there because of the unlikable/unfollowable children.

I tried freeing up the tavern by killing both the innkeeper and the gamemaster, but this doesn't seem to be enough.

Does someone know exactly what houses you can own and how to do it?

EDIT: so i've managed to buy the clothier, hairdresser and tavern in the meantime. If someone knows something else i could buy let me know.

I remember in TLC been able to own them all, but cannot remember how I did it.

I know the method you're speaking of, but sadly this was a glitch in TLC that is not available in anniversary edition. I believe it had something to do with slowing down time while hitting people with a shovel.

yep I think thats what I did, used bandits.

Slower process, but I use the Mercenaries.
I'd download a mod that removed the children so I could buy the houses
If one existed I mean.
Or just added more property in general, such as the Guild shop.
