Which fable was the one where you become the king?
I have played it many years ago but i dont remember anymore if it was 2 or 3. you became king and had to protect the kingdom from something evil

Fable 3 is unplayable for me, I got the hard copy, but when microsoft marketplace BS dismantle, cant even load anymore.

have you tried the 'games for windows live' workaround? I think fallout 3 has a similar problem (among many others) but i'd start there. Guides to do that are on steam already

If you have gamepass its free on PC with the cloud gaming thing.

Download GFWL from PCGamingWiki. uninstall old versions first

In fable 2 you become king/queen too but it's optional and really expensive. I guess it definitely happened in canon since he/she had Logan and F3 Protagonist as kids.
