Skorm's Bow

Been trying to get Skrom's bow for about 4 hours now. I'm fully evil, naked, i'm on day 20 and am sacrificing one of the two "good"mercenaries at both the moment the dial hits/just before night or in the dead middle of the night. All I get though is "that pittance is of little use" or "your contribution is not as generous as we would hope". What the hell am I doing wrong? I've gotten this bow so many times in the past and have never had an issue with it, but now it's just not giving it to me!

When you're already evil it's harder. If you were pure good making these sacrifices, you'd get like a billion evil points. But since you're already in the dark side, you'll get very few points. Just keep doing it and making sure you're doing it at the right time.

Thanks for that. Like I said I've got the bow multiple times before, all on fully evil characters. No idea what i'm doing wrong this time. I'll grab a bunch of good boy points and do it that way!

You should donate to the Temple of Avo and exploit the hack. I did this in the original game and it still works for Anniversary. First go to the temple of avo, go to the well. SAVE GAME BEFORE YOU DONATE ANYTHING. Then Donate almost all your money, leave about 10 coins. The press A, its should ask you if you're sure, agree. The QUICKLY PRESS TO skip the Priest dialogue and press A again to donate . if you do it quickly and donate 10 coins it will register you 2nd donate and not your first but it will give you the good points of the 1st donation and the 2nd donation. if you Donate 50k coins, you should get the weapon Sentinus (The red spiked baseball bat mace) and the title Paladin. YOu can do this infinite amount of time. If you messed up during the first donation, reload your saved game and try again. once you get alot of good points go sacrifice some people at the temple of skorm. And make sure that you do it at midnight when the dial is exactly top half night and the bottom is day. When that happens donate your 2 guards, then get to more go back to the temple of skorm. Eat a moonfish, wait til midnight then sacrifice them, You should get it by the 2nd time you sacrifice. it should take no more than 3 attempts. Good Luck.

the trick is to get 1000 evil points or more with 1 sacrifice to get the bow. you can then get the age reduction and the title still later. the oakvale merc is enough for this and he respawns later. the more good you are the easier this is. if youre fully evil the chance is super low. i always grab it before even fighting wasp queen. this bow is silly strong. it breaks the early game completly. its sad you can get the best bow stupidly early but not the best crossbow or best sword. most enemies become oneshots with a bit of bow skill learned.
