Ok so I just spent 2 hours on the hobbe killing contest, I had no armor, not, and 10 more kills on. Reasons this mission is absolutely ridiculous:
A. She literally steals every kill, any time I get a hobbe to low health she will Sprint from WHEREVER she is just to do her stupid little charge ability and steal the kill leaving me with no kill point and giving it to her.

B. What the hell is the hobbe mage fireball range and why in the everliving ♥♥♥♥ are they allowed to cast while not in sight range, I'm literally having fireballs thrown over either the entire River or all the way up and over both hills, it makes it impossible to do no hit when fireballs come randomly crashing down from the sky with not a single mage in sight. I cannot dodge what I cannot see.

Officially done with boasts, the gameplay mechanics of this game just do not work well enough for those challenges to be do able, unless you spent countless hours grinding the forest, leveling up and getting better gear, which makes the rest of the game pretty boring if you do that right off the bat.

Oh one more thing I'd like to throw in, the targeting system in this game leaves me speechless it's so god awful, like holy hell, it doesn't register like 60% of enemies, I don't have enough fingers to hold left trigger, move with the left stick(so I'm not being hit), charge my bow with Y AND use the right stick to switch targets and no releasing and pressing the left trigger is even worse, it never comes off of the original target and when it does, it does it by turning me all the way around so I'm facing the wrong direction.

I really wish developers would smarten up a bit and stop focusing remaster on the graphics and actually make some improvement to the gameplay mechanics.

Short answer. Git Gud.
Actual answer: This is one of the harder boast to do since its early in the game. The way I do it is to equip a heavy great sword or great axe and run to the back of the orchard where the pond is. A trick is to lead whisper to the higher hp hobbes and then run away from her a bit and take out your own group. He attack deals a good about of damge but her DPS is much much lower than yours so if you seperate her from yourself then you can rack up kills. After you gain a decent lead group back up with her and only hit the hobbes a few times each and wait for her to attack them, right after she does her attack start swinging for the kill. Her strong attack has a 2-3 second cooldown before she can attack again. Its possible to end the mission with whisper only have 1-2 kills if you use the method I described.

an alt method is to buy multi arrow and attact the hobbes to whisper and charge shot their heads for 1 hit ko. You can also use slow time spell to make it easier to last hit from under her.

I think what was happening was that my damage was just barely not enough to 1 hit so then she would just come up and finish them off before I could manage to get another hit in. I decided to just say ♥♥♥♥ and fail it, the boast are not worth the fruastaion of these old ass mechanics. Why they released an anniversary version without any mechanical upgrades or bug fixes I have no idea. 14 hours of gameplay and my game has frozen about 50 times. It's really just a graphical repolsih and that's it. Still fun because it fable but would have been nice if they could have intergrated some of the new technology since it was what like 5 years after the original release, right in the middle of the technology boom.
