Crashing in the level up menu
My game crashes nearly everytime I tab over on the leveling menu. I've been searching online for days trying to find a fix and nothing has reliably worked.

It's super frustrating. Try turning vsync off on the in game options menu. Then if you have Nvidia inspector, and don't want it running at like 200 frames, you can force vsync on from there. For some reason that seems to help a little bit.

If I navegate through it quick enough sometimes I can get through the level up menu before it crashes the game, but like you said it is pretty frustrating and there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of help out there to fix the problem.

I tried what you suggested by turning off Vsync and that alone seems to have worked for me so thanks for the tip.
No problem! It definitely seems to reduce the frequency of the crashes.
I'll post on here again if I ever find a better solution.
Happy leveling! lol

Well since I turned Vsync off I haven't crashed and I've been playing pretty consistently.

Turning off vsync in the game menu doesn't work for me. Crashed twice in a row as soon as I go to the magic/spells tab

I never did find a solution to this problem sadly.

2022 and this is STILL an issue. Was not an issue until well into the game. Developers, you've had five YEARS to fix this issue. Wtf?

Worked for me :D

Disable the Steam Overlay on specific games only by right-clicking on the game title, click on "Properties" and uncheck "Enable Steam Community In-Game" in the "General" tab.
