Rapture Recovery Squad 1.0 is here! This update includes:

Five new roster entries to support the Zealot
Four new curios
A new dive, with more difficult enemy compositions to keep you on your toes
Three new enemy types, including a new final boss for the new dive
Performance improvements, focused on slowdown in menus
Optimisations to help keep the file sizes small

Whilst this marks the end of Early Access, updates will continue to come post launch.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in Early Access. As a solo dev it's been very uplifting to see people playing the game, and your feedback has been invaluable to making the game more fun!

This patch brings two new bosses, both designed to put the average roster to the test.

Balance Changes

Adjusted the weighting for a few fights. You should run into the defence king a little less on lower floors.
Adjusted some numbers around enemy shielding to prevent it overwhelming early builds

Fixes

Fixed a resolution bug that was popping up for some users

My apologies for a lack of recent updates, an issue occurred with my two factor authentication (required to upload new builds to Steam).

New Dive Lead: The Zealot

Bringing some cyber samurai flavour, the Zealot is the second dive lead available for the Faithful faction

Use Showdown tags to mark multiple enemies for this dive lead to attack
Two new roster entries to aid with adding these tags to your enemies
More roster entries to support this lead will be coming next week

Fixes

An issue where you can't go back with a right click should be fixed
A bug causing the dive lead to have 20 health on some profiles has been fixed

Misc Changes

To ensure people can quickly access the new content, all dive teams will be available to select as soon as you have completed the tutorial

Balance is way off

This isn't the same balance or encounters from the demo from Nextfest. This is like, nonsensically hard now. I lost on the first fight 3 times. The first fight. The dude gets 3 units, I get 3 energy with it costing 2 to summon a guy, who never gets to shoot. He's too slow they are too fast. This balance is bad. Please let me know when this is fixed so I can actually enjoy this again. This went from a fun slay the spire like experience to just getting kicked in the nuts. This is like, really disappointing. ...
