Turning off the girls getting angry if the player remains silent
Is there a way to turn off the girls getting angry if the player not constantly sending messages? If there is a way to turn it off, please let me know how to.
If there is no way at the moment, I have a suggestion – add a girl with personality trait "silence enjoyer" or something, so if this trait assigned to any girl - it would completely remove the timer after which girls getting angry the player “ignoring” them. I know constantly yapping with unstable girls is the part of the gameplay, but I feel like it would be so great to give the player a way to disable this mechanic at some point. Maybe, like, add this trait to 5th girl or something, I feel like the player would suffer enough at this point to let them have it.
Maybe also add a similar trait that would prevent the girls to complain if the player walks too far away from them. I feel like these two traits would make new maps exploration such a pleasant experience.
Thank you <3

While I understand the desire for this "easy mode", it goes against the whole spirit of the game, having someone obsessed about being with you.
i agree, thread poster. It is suffocating when they expect user input every what feels like 20 seconds or so. I had it happen yesterday on the space ship. I couldn't get from fixing one component to another before the NPC initiated destroy the player mode.

In fact, I want a mode, where this doesn't happen with the kill the player part. Period.

There's something to this idea. I would suggest considering two options: 1) Character trait. It's a good idea to add a certain feature. But in order not to break the game idea, it may be worth making access to this character trait, for example, when reaching all the endings with a girl. After that, this feature would open automatically.
2) Or consider the option so that the girls can get their request across, not torment you every few seconds, just by asking for it. For example, by telling her, "Wait here while I look for what we need." After that, she would have realized that she needed to be a little more patient at the moment. In order to avoid the abuse of this feature by the player, make its waiting not endless. If the wait is too long, the girl comes to the player and informs him that she is tired of waiting and returns to her usual behavior, while taking into account the next time that the player did not use his request in good faith. Since there are no timers in the game, the player could set the waiting time himself, but no more than 3 minutes, for example. And at the same time, such requests should not be constant or too frequent. As well as make them dependent on the level of the girl's trust in the player.

What do you think, guys? Maybe anyone got more ideas?

It would be a nice reward to unlock the unlimited timer mode for each level after achieving all the endings. You can already have conversations in the atrium without worrying about the timer, but I really hope that within each level you will be able to enjoy conversations as you wish.

Apart from that, it would be better to adjust how often Elysia complains when collecting potion ingredients. Fortunately, she is my best wife so it is not a problem for me, but for many it will be a bit bothersome.

"Player, don't forget we need to sign the contract"
"Player how dare you open the secret room"
"Player the contract awaits us"
"Player my emotions are a storm because I went into the basement and saw the secret room open again"

The only thing I hate is when The Witch tell me to get the ingredients to make the potion. so I did what she told, but she keep saying I should not left her alone. (You told me to collect them and return once I done)

I always tried to take the ai's mind off that contract, or told "A minute please" or something similiar. Worked so far.
I have to agree, as it would be better if the characters just tried talking to you every minute. Though with the game being more dynamic so you would only be forced to reply if you broke certain rules or did something suspicious then you would have to respond or lose favor. I sort of talked about the same thing in my own thread and review since it bothered me as well.

The game needs to be more dynamic, not needy.

I don't mind them upset that you're ignoring them because of silence as much as when you pick up more than two items. I can throw in a "Hi!" if I notice I haven't spoken in a while, but when I'm just quickly checking which ingredients Eddie has in her fridge or gathering what Elysia wants for a potion, that's what I find annoying.

At least having a longer timer would be nice, though. Maybe when you've increased their affection, the amount of time before they think you're ignoring them goes up each level.
Even though it is frustrating...
I do think cat girl in particular having obvious mental issues does make perfect sense that she has no patience and also does not like if you go to a room without her. All I could say with her specifically is allow the player response (to ignoring me question.) to have an ++ to time limit at least with speaking.

In fact this is probably the best way to go about it.

NPC: Are you ignoring me? You are so quiet
Player: I am just looking around / I am working on something I just need a minute.

(Then have the game start an extended timer for response, based as well on how much trust / love points / security level etc. have been gained. More trust = more time! and let's not be stingy.)

You need to treat the AI girls as people than AI chatbot. They been programmed with morals, beliefs, history, etc. Now, if you know how to talk to people without being forceful and know how to be caring what they say. If you really good in persuasion they never get angry.

For me, veey rarely a girl will cut herself off and say she's getting lonely/upset. This mostly happens when the game takes a long time deciding what the girl's response will be. You can't give her any inputs while she's doing this, so she'll eventually start saying her response and then complain because you couldn't say anything.

I've also had it happen once or twice when you trigger too many lines at once. Like in Cosmic Funeral, I'm dumping stuff into the engine all at once. She's in the middle of saying something, stops to think up a line about not letting the engine overheat, then stops to think of a congratulations line after the engine os fixed. And then complain I haven't said anything because she keeps triggering new lines.

The witch is also incredibly needy and gets upset if you walk too far looking for ingredients but I find asking her to move to X room for whatever reason distracts her enough for you to grab some stuff. She also loves riddles so if you just copy whatever riddles you find online, she'll solve them and be completely distracted
