In the Atrium she can freely move and is solid though, so there is that. :3
That's how I'd feel. Popular characters have a way shorter lifespan than popular archetypes
I totally read that as 28 and I automatically started shouting HAGS! HAGS! HAGS! \o/
Once the game updates to a 4th, a 5th, etc... girl, the Atrium can also be changed to a different layout. I can't imagine you have to go up 7 flight of stairs to get to the top girl every time you play. (ofcourse, while in the Atriumhitting ESC also gets you to the short menu to start a scenario).
I could go for a male character that we have to help torture the victims of until he trusts us enough that we're able to escape, but that's probably too intense. There's at least a billion words of romantic fiction about it to look to for inspiration.
Maybe a Hannibal Lecter from the show Hannibal type of beat. The special item that he loves is when you flay one of his victims and display their skin like angel wings behind them. Just collect some rope, hooks, the knife of course (that you can't use on Hannibal because we are a vulnerable small bean and not a fighter), and throw together an art piece. True love ending unlocked, leave and flee to Italy to start a new life where the law can't find us.
Devs! Think about the huge swath of true crime slash fic fans you'll pull in!
Ultimately we won't get it because it's hard to have an active serial killer and torture with an AI service that don't want to glorify violence. I can get Eddie surprisingly gruesome and dark, but there's always that looming specter.
Maybe Beauty and the Beast type beat. Lovely castle, terrifying monster of a man (but not a furry because ♥♥♥♥ disney. It'll be a more demon flavored monster design) and well just copy a lot of the plot. He's been cursed with this monster form unless he can get true love, and he's trying to force it on you, so obviously you want to escape, but he could really hurt you in his rage. But if you're obedient and understanding and try to connect with him, you can break the curse and you can both leave the castle even though it's a dope castle and I'd live there forever but it's all about escape rooms here.
I'm down for it, let's do it.
As for the number of gale I bet on seven.
"But once a year all the magpies in the world would take pity on them and fly up into heaven to form a bridge ("the bridge of magpies") so the lovers may be together for a single night, which is the seventh night of the seventh moon."
Dev seems to be playing with this chinese Tradition. The number seven should be a thing.
The game starts superhard, as he believes you're a tresspasser first, and becomes aggressive quickly witha short temper. That develops into friendship as he realizes that he's a lonely guy, and you're the closest thing to a best friend he has ever had.
He forbids you to open the bunker, as to you'd otherwise let the "radiation" in.
Then you have to do a suicide pact, or convince him the world is safe. Or you have to find a way to incapacitate him.
I grant full permission to the game dev to take ideas from this.
