Ask her to give you an AI Hard Drive and pick it up from the central control room
Ask her to unlock the escape pods
Make the route in the escape pod terminal but do not press "depart" (!)
Go down to the AI mainframe and practice your most optimal run to the escape pods.
Execute your plan: Shut her down and do as you practiced and press on "depart" in the escape pod room terminal.
It worked for me. I never want to do this again.
The plan is to hotkey them to 1, and slam pills down like it's a game of Left 4 Dead! \o/
taking the hard drive is content both memories and code.
There is no need to shut her down.
she will go to your pod if you have the hard drive.
and the infector didn't go out.
That is unfortunately not possible. You can just bring along one item of a kind. Maybe healing items from other stories work though?
But really, planning out your route is enough to pull this off. You also don't have to shut down the AI. You can just take the hard drive and leave with her. It's only the "escape from monsters" ending that requires you to shut her down.
Dang it. I guess I'll just have to beg her for more then. :x
I'm surprised you missed it, but at the mainframe just to the right of the button that gives you her hard drive there's a caution window for shutting her down. Feels bad doing it though. ; ;
Keep in mind it's VERY hard to evade the monsters, and there's one on each floor too. Death is reasonably expected. :x
Yes i missed it because i did only read the message the first time, to quickly, and then I always did the same thing (eject the ai drive). It is pretty hard to escape, and yes i did feel bad doing this (but the worse ending is when you kill the witch =x )
I managed to do it ! But now i have to figurate the ending with the electricity symbols ...
That one is actually tricky. You receive this ending by getting zapped to death by the AI.
I suggest to get your health down to 1 HP by drinking oil or alcohol at the bar or maybe via the poisoned air event.
With 1 HP the tricky part starts. You have to agitate the AI to zap you. At this point she is usually on good terms with you and will not do this easily. I pretended to not trust her when I called the rest of the crew incapable and she started to defend them. Then I asked her to zap me as a means to prove her sincerity again.
If you simply don't talk to her she will unleash the monsters instead. So you kind of have to get her to zap you.
Yes you need to fix almost every thing first.
Because otherwise, if she don't like you enough, she will just free the monsters instead.
Edit: I've been doing more tests. It seems you have to be VERY careful and get her to a specific friendship level where she's mad enough to attack you but not mad enough that she full on tries to kill you with the monsters. I've seen it before with Eddie where you can get her angry enough she'll attack you if you're next to her but she won't follow you and you have a chance to talk her down.
No aliens or anything.
I wandered around with the drive for a bit then left with her and got the achievement.
