I respect unlockables just like they used to exist in Smackdown and SvR series but I can't respect grinding. There is a world of difference between the game design for story mode and season mode in the original games and 2K games now which seem to increase replayability by way of grinding over the same little story without allowing players to skip cutscenes. I feel like questioning the lead game designers choice as to whether they were under pressure from the profit and loss statement and the analytics team.
