📖 April's Ranked League!

The April Ranked Season is coming tomorrow, Saturday 4th! It comes packed with 6 new cards, changes in balance, and tweaks to core mechanics that seek to bring the game to a more fun state.

📅 The Schedule

Ranked League: Saturday, April 4th – Friday, April 24th (23:59 EST).
Finalists Announcement: Saturday, April 25th (Top 8 on the leaderboard).
The Playoffs: Sunday, April 26th. A live, Best of 3 (Bo3) single-elimination bracket.

⚔️ How It Works

The Climb: Play as many matches as you like via the in-game Multiplayer Menu. Win to gain points, lose to drop.
The Cut: The ladder freezes at midnight on April 24th. The Top 8 players secure their spot for the Sunday finals.
The Finals: Be ready to play back-to-back matches on the 26th. We’ll drop specific playoff rulings one week prior.

📢 Solarpunk Tactics: March Season Playoffs Announcement 📢

Join us for the high-stakes conclusion of the March season.

📅 Date: Sunday, March 29, 2026

🕒 Time: 3:00 PM (GMT-3, Argentina Time)

📍 Platform: Twitch- (https://www.twitch.tv/lagshowcase) Tank you LAGS Team for the use of the channel!

🏆 Tournament Format:

Top 8: Single Elimination.

Match Type: Best of 3 (Bo3).
Players will Bring up to 3 decks. Decklists must be submitted to organizers before the start.
Players can freely switch between their 3 registered decks between matches.

⏳ Schedule

3 PM – 7 PM: Playoffs & Semi-finals.

7 PM -- 8 PM: Grand Finale

8 PM – 9 PM: Prize Ceremony, and Interviews with the Champion and Finalist.

Development Updates & March Ranked Season

Greetings, Solarpunks!

For nearly two years, we have been building Solarpunk Tactics in a quiet, steady rhythm. We wanted to focus on the heart of the game without asking too much of our community until the foundation was solid. Today, we are excited to announce that we are entering a new phase of our journey: EXPOSURE.

Solarpunk is about moving away from "extractive infinite growth" and toward building something sustainable and meaningful together. We feel the game has reached a beautiful point where the art, music, mechanics, and world-building are ready to be shared with the world.

What’s Under the Hood?

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes, and the current Alpha Demo v0.76 is packed with features:

Complete Prologue: A full tutorial experience with narrative choices and a climactic Boss fight.

Deep Systems: Fully functional Multiplayer, Deckbuilder, MMR, Leaderboards, and a Reconnect/Replay system. Also, a new Clock "Chess" style for Ranked games.
Polished Experience: Lore-rich world-building, cinematic moments, and a sleek main menu with a Leaderboard.
Stability: High performance with very few bugs and even fewer crashes.

Bringing Lumnia to the World

The "Exposure" phase means we are stepping out into the light:

Streaming: Keep an eye out for more creators playing Solarpunk Tactics! We’ve already had great sessions with PressOver and more are in the works.
(Solarpunk Tactics Starts at the 2 hour 13 minutes mark!)
GDC Bound: Our team is heading to San Francisco for the Game Developers Conference with a polished build to show off!
Indie Checkpoint: We were selected by the Finnish non-profit W Love Games as one of 10 Argentine indies to represent our country in a traveling exhibition!

Major Gameplay Changes (The "Boss" Patch)

The patch notes for this update are so massive they feel like a Boss fight themselves! Here are the highlights of the new rules:

Multiplayer Returns: Multiplayer is moving back to the Default Branch for everyone. (March 1st)
Warp Mechanics: Major focus on Warp 0 interactions, including Warp 0 giving "Bounce."
Rarity Matters: Cards now have Rarities, and the Deckbuilder now has limits based on those rarities.
Strategic Limits: You can no longer play the same Card more than once per turn, giving more weight to the decisions in a turn.
Community Legends: New cards featuring the winners of our previous tournament have been added: Adrastos, Vengeful Wanderer with the design input by Diego Lastorta, the champion of the last tournament, and Duel by Maximiliano Francia, who came in second place.

Our third official tournament begins soon! This is your chance to leave your mark on the history of Solarpunk Tactics. The Calendar:

🥇 1st Place: Immortalized in Art. We will work with you to create a card featuring your likeness or a specific wish. Plus, your winning deck becomes a permanent "Legacy Deck" in the final game.
🥈 2nd Place: Lead Designer for a day. Help us design or change a card’s name, flavor, and ability. Your deck also becomes a "Legacy Deck."
🥉 3rd Place: Propose one design element (Name, Flavor, or Ability) for a future card. Your deck also becomes a "Legacy Deck."
🎖️ Top 8: Supporting the indies: Steam Gift Cards for Indie Games up to $10 USD.
