Correct, so there is
1) "over the shoulder" aiming which is not scoped,
2) when I use the same button I use for binoculars the weapon's aim view changes into the default "scoped" view at a default zoom level.
It is here though that I am stuck as I am not able to adjust zoom in the second option (while in scope view).
Is that just how the game is supposed to work? You get to aim in only 2 different views?
How do I get to switch from one step to another?
For some reason one of the 8X scopes I have does not allow this feature. Might be some sort of glitch? Not sure but either way I found a good alternative that works as expected. 🤷🏼♂️
