But I think MGSV regenerating hp works well, because it forces you to take cover etc. It's also nice that every MGS tries to be different. Rations in a way made the earlier games easy also, because they gave you instantly more health. All you had to do was to make sure you got enough of them in a Boss fight etc.
Ratios please!
They didn't really give an explanation for the regenerating health did they? Maybe they'll explain why in The Phantom Pain since Kojima is the kind of person who explains why things are that way.
If feels more like any other 3rd person shooter now. Well done but..not as much depth as the older games and even MGS4.
its just the prologue and some side missions.
im sure TPP will be much more deep to get into.
just thinking about invading a buddy's base and stealing his stuff sound like allot of fun.
allot of the features of TPP are not even present in GZ like fulton, motherbase, customisable weapons, knocking with his robotic arm, riding a horse, changing time of day, a full campaign not a one mission intro, cardboard box, boss fights, hopeully some 4th wall breaking stuff too haha, and much more.
but i get what u mean compared to the full mgs games this felt a little empty.
lets hope they listen to us and make proper changes to TPP.
I liked that one and I hope they don't tone it down for the hard mode in TPP.
It is only a 3rd person shooter only if you play like a shooter. The stealth element is there. It has always been there. That is what was great about the Metal Gear series. You can go in guns ablazing or go in quietly.
As for the story, you do know that it is only a prologue? We have been given a small, tiny part of the story only. Since you've played MGS3, why not play MGS: Peace Walker? Peace Walker will help you fill the gaps along the way.
If there is one thing, one thing you don't say about MGS, is the story is light.
This. If only I can say and type this to the players who think that it's generic as generic can be.
I usually hate HP reg, but in this game it makes perfect sense.
