Why does Big Boss get a cool arm?

Can someone explain why Big Boss gets a robotic arm but Kaz doesn't?

But yeah this is hardly the first time plot holes have been found in MGS. From past experience I'd wager people will make threads about it, get trolled, and then everyone just forgets~

Also isn't Metal Gear, and Metal Gear Solid suppose to be seperate?

So Miller trained Solid Snake knowing he was the clone of Big Boss... I wonder if at some point he was tempted into influencing him.

yeah im pretty sure he knew. i hope we see solid snake in TPP. i wanna see his training with miller expanded on.

Solid Snake would only be 12 or so during TPP but (major? spoiler for TPP) we do encounter Liquid Snake as a pre-teen, under the name "Eli".So it is possible Solid Snake will be in too.

well i doubt its gonna span over 1 year. kojima said it will connect big boss' timeline with solid snakes

Kaz doens't get his robotic arm because is just Kaz who cares
Big boss is the boss that's why he gets it XD

Kaz would also need a 'robotic' leg aswell lads.
Just a theory though isnt the red prosphetic big boss gets is the one he took from Zadornov from Peace Walker?

i have to laugh how kojima felt slighted by hayter and didn't want to work with him anymore because hayter(in a jovial manner) made fun of kojima's absolutely ridiculous writing. i mean his dialog writing is just poor, bottom line. but the fact that utterly idiotic stuff happens all the time in his stories that people have to make up their explanations for plot holes is just hilarious. but anyway, i enjoy the games. the stories are and always will be nonsense.

You do know that Kojima is japanese,right? His writing will always be ridiculous because that's how he is.Silly does not equal bad writing.
