KJPDev, regarding aspect ratios. 4:3, 16:10, 21:9 etc.
Apologies in advance for mirroring this thread but I want all the MGS fans to read it :)

Unfortunately, I doubt there will be good support for the various aspect rations outside of 16:9 but I do hope you can deny my worries or make a suggestion to the developers to support it, I will explain why.

I feel that the majority of developers lately only support the majority of modern gamers(16:9 users), this is really disheartening to the remaining PC purists or just people with older displays who don't have a 16:9 monitor. For me it's especially bad when the games have enormous budgets and push the envelope of fidelity because all of that is tainted when my large and expensive monitor shows these big black bars or my horizontal field of view is botched. It really sucks to be forced to play in windowed mode or use some third party tool to adjust the picture of a game especially when games from decades past support any aspect ratio you want. PC gaming has been going backwards locking refresh rates and aspect ratios!

Seeing as this is such a, in my opinion, important and historical PC release I think it would be very beneficial if the team at KojiPro put the effort in to supporting everyone and not just the majority. I feel it would set a great example to other companies and it's a fact that the extra effort would be highly received by the enthusiasts in the PC gaming community.

To add on to this, some kind of basic FOV setting would be desirable. Simulation sickness and headaches are a real problem.

I'm pretty certain it won't have a FOV slider and the FOV isn't that bad for this game.

FOV sliders for a 3rd person game are a rareity. Can't hurt to have it, but i wont be fussed if its not there
