Kiefer Sutherland vs David Hayter

I really miss snake super raspy voice voice...kiefer is really throwing me off to the point where I dont think I'll play. Never realized ground zeroes lost David until after I bought it...It feels wrong like when ubisoft stopped using the original assasin's creed writer

Unlike Sam Fisher's or Garrett's voice actors in their newest games (Splinter Cell Blacklist and Thief), Kiefer Sutherland as Big Boss is actually decen/tgood.

I never understood why Kojima choose David Hayter to do both Solid Snake and Big Boss. I for one am glad that he has different voice actor and I am completely fine with Kiefer. Kiefer fits into BB.

Kiefer is the better voice actor imo, but Haytor has a sort of overdramatic voice that fit with the overdramatic nature of all the MGS games.

However, since the themes of this game seem much more serious I think that Keifer's voice fits well.

Then again I didn't play the games in my childhood so I don't have the nostalgic connection to Haytor's voice that everyone else seems to have. I will miss it though :'(

I was kinda the same when they changed Sam's voice in Blacklist but I quickly got over it.

Sam was much worse. He neither acted nor sounded nor looked like Sam should. He;s like some wierd doppleganger the crew was paid to accept. They had the perfect opportunity to introduce a new Protag, but they chose to akwardly keep it as Sam.

They really gotta get a new protag. That or revert back to a less violent Splinter Cell so Ironside could come back.

iits hard to replace micheal ironside his voice is naturally sinister. they ruined sam fishers character. david hayter made a great snake but get the fact the voice change is a transformation from snake to big boss he is not snake he is big boss, keifer did not do a bad job at all.
