vs death stranding
I am really enjoying death stranding, i love how much weight there is to the movements, and the graphics.
i also love the movements of helldivers 2.

has anyone played both of these games and can compare to MGSV?
Can i expect similar satisfaction from how the characters will move?

never even really looked at hell divers content.

Vehicle Physics are quite janky, but the character movement is pretty good and snappy. Since it's a stealth game there's a strong emphasis on crouching and crawling to get around unseen and definitely makes fun (except for slopes, which can be annoying sometimes^^). There's also quite a big number of different clothings, if you like that aspect

Though the equipment doesn't really change the characters movement, it's mostly just an asset you're carrying on your back, so there's no difference between a 20 kg rocket launcher and a small rifle when it comes to movement.

Vehicles in death stranding is janky too. Guess thats hideo's weak point.
Hows the mech? I really wish there was a mech to ride in death stranding.
Helldivers 2 has a 2 mechs you can ride and its fun. Movements are solid too.

I love when character visuals actually change according to the equipment.

Yeah i hate when my character moves along the ground like a floating object without any interaction of the bumpy grounds. Like when it animates like its walking, but it doesnt match the speed or the footsteps.
Helldivers also has great prone movements and even can lay with your back against the ground but still facing forward to aim the gun 360 degrees.

Over 80hrs on death stranding. Amazing game. Takes about first 10 hrs of tutorial type of gaming to really get immersed.

Well the movement here is pretty good I guess, not so good as in DS. Gun mechanics are good, better than in DS (although I only tried that weird thing that ties up people and the invisible things).
But there are som issues. You will be lost in the story (if you are interested in it in the first place). For me it wasn´t a big deal, I ignored the story here and in DS. Some parts of the world feels really empty. Ending is hidden behind repeating dumb missions. Mother Base (even fully upraged) is absolutely barebone. But the enviroment is pretty nice, and the cars are fun to drive.

I've always noticed the movement was pretty excellent in those games, True masterys of the 3rd Person Genre

DS is MGSV with new skin, more baggage and less battlefield. Guess i know who you really are... Gallo Pinto.

No its's not, not even close.

Game play is totally different, so is the animations and controls. Hell-divers is more like metal gear V than DS.

It's like saying Dead Space is a re-skinned Resident Evil ha ha ha. :steamfacepalm:

Sure, im playing it on a different steam account!
I just booted it up via family share for 1 minute by accident.
i have about 30 hours on the original DS, then i upgraded to Director's cut, and got additional 80 hours. Still in the middle of the game and enjoying completing each deliveries with Premium -S- goals.
Such fun, and calming, game.
Looking forward to purchasing MGSV as soon as its on sale!

how do you have 7000 hrs on MGSV? Is there that much content? or does it have online pvp?

MGS5 has a lot of the quality details of animation you are talking about. It's one of the big selling points of the game that causes it trouble because the ends of the game are unfinished. There are more details than DS and Helldivers. DS is MGS5 code rewritten all over again, when they spent a lot of time on FOX engine only to use it for one unfinished game, which is extremely sad. DS and MGS5 are virtually identical really, except the map in DS is betterish.. but MGS5 you are actually fighting intelligent enemies which don't exist in DS, besides the FOB modes which add a lot of verticality and usage of stance changing and hiding well. Helldivers will give you a better experience of destroying more organic enemies, but overall MGS5 has an actual sandbox you can get creative with. Start with GZ.

DS is a game all about the traversal. So it will obviously have a headstart on the details. Walking from areas is a much bigger part of that game and knowing how much you can carry and how to do it.

MGS5 is focused more on tools and options for stealth. So the attention to detail comes more from discovering everything you can do. Its a lot more than you'd think, and definitely more than most games. So get creative. If you think they wouldnt account for doing something, try it anyways cause it might actually work.
