How did Ocelot/Kaz end up being at Big Boss's side? And some more questions.

I've just watched MGS3 movie-playthrough, read MGS PO story on wiki in short, and I've beaten MGS PW on PSP quite a while ago.

No trace of how Kaz joined Big Boss. Can anyone explain how they met or tell in which game I can find the answer?

Same with Ocelot, how did he end up helping Big Boss in TPP?
Where has he been during PW and GZ?
Though it didn't seem like Snake wanted to kill Ocelot. However the latter seemed to try, but at the same time he was kind of toying and playing with Snake instead, not sure what to think, any explaination on that?
Clueless about Ocelot's actual goal and whom he works for as well, can anyone tell?



The story is so twisted, often even simple actions are confusing and out of place(like the Boss actually fighting Snake instead just shooting herself, she seemed to anyway want Snake to be the survivor afterall). At least for me. Very confusing.



I've got quite a bunch a questions above, but if you could, answers to any would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Skullface makes it clear that he hates Zero in the cassettes in GZ. He even implies to Paz that he intends to kill Zero.

That is a tricky one. I always say that one does not understand Metal Gear until you understand Ocelot. He believes in keeping his enemies very close. He hates the Patriots, but works for them. Probably believing that the best way to hurt them is from within. From what I can tell, his motives changed over the years. He worked for the American Philosophers and the CIA. Also the NSA. Then the Patriots. He still remains of the greatest mysteries of Metal Gear, and I don't think his story is over. I am certain that something will happen in TPP that will cause him to change his goals, once again.

I really want to believe he's the good guy, even though twisted on torture, anyway he's a b@d@ss with the revolvers(and hopefully he expands to shotguns)! Glad he is going to be playable in MGO3!

Yes, I've seen that, on wiki I think, but how did the guys from wiki learn about that, did they get something others don't have access to? Kojima did it himself? Paradox.

Ocelot is the biggest liar in Metal Gear. It is possible that some of his origins might have been a lie, but I cannot say for certain. The only thing I can say for certain is that he is no fan of the patriots. But what exactly is going on in his mind might never be known. You mention a paradox. Funny, because I think even Kojima does not fully understand Ocelot. Hopefully, it will all be clear in TPP. Kojima even stated that one of the reasons that he keeps making Metal Gear games is because people are so confused by the story. So he tries to clarify things. I just hope he does not retcon something.

As I understand, Ocelot is Adam, one of the two agents that were supposed to help BB during SEater, but he didn't seem to be much of help, if at all.

I believe that Ocelot's real mission was to steal the Philosopher's Legacy for the US during MGS3.

Just had a thought that Ocelot could be fun in DMC/MGR type game, and then I realized there might be no MGR2, so sad.
