Whats the diffrense between big bosses MSF and mercs?

Whats the diffrense between big bosses MSF and mercs? or called diamond dogs, Miller says in the Peace walker game that im playing right now that they are a new business...and that they are a threat...but whats the diffrense between them and a mercenery group? cause they sound exacly like a mercenary group? or do I missunderstand what a merc group is?

They are a merc group, the only difference is the size and scale of Big Boss's operation which is why they are seen as a threat.

well have you ever seen a mercenary group that has a giant robot capable of launching a nuke, and capable of shooting missiles and railguns, and an army skill fully trained by an ex-military fully equipped with tazers,a bunch of high-tech rocket launchers, a portable railgun that could be charged to destroy a peace walker in one blow?

Well the merc group your fighting is one. those are the ones you kidnapp and steal all the material from. some of them work for the US and The soviet...but most of them dont.

also did i forget to mention that a single man aka snake did all the physical work to destroy hundreds and thousands of AI,Soldiers,Tanks,Planes,Robots,etc.
And they pose a big threat since their mercenary group is about destroying and reducing usage of AI technology used for war.

Do Big Boss care about that? I know it was Solid Snakes group who did that. Big Boss just did it for the job they were hired to do. Or im thinking of Metal gears not AI:s

Solid Snake is Big bos and his group is just for intel, snake did almost all the physical work, well after MGS peace walker

May I make a correction? He's talking about Philanthropy I would assume and Big Boss is Naked Snake, not Solid Snake.

No? Big boss is big boss Solid Snake is one of big boss clones.
Solid Snake would be a kid at this time as they cloned him durin Big bosses coma, they made him grow older but His not older than Liquid Snake and 90% sure that is Eli and his a kid during this, and the gameplay shows a old man with a beard I dont think Solid Snake ever had a beard.

And when Solid Snake left Foxhound he had already fought Big Boss. and the plotline of MGS1 is the Traitor Foxhound unit wanted the remains of big boss so they think his dead at that point in time. so its no way they worked with each other....Knowingly.
