I love project zomboid and also liked State of Decay 1 (wasn't so keen on 2). I hadn't heard of CDDA so I'll look that one up! Thanks.
Yeah, this is actually a great comparison. Hadn't thought of it that way myself either though but I 100% agree with this on the Avatar vs FOB. I think it just wasn't obvious when people first played it and it looked more like paying for a second player (I used to think the same), and then that (along with it not being done by Kojima) just started a snowball of hate on the game.
