The answer to everything.
Calls out Bloodborne for the, atleast in his opinion, bad camera and controls. Plays Witcher 3.
Are you kidding me? Witcher 3 is gameplay-wise probably the weakest of the big hitters this year (Bloodborne, Witcher 3, Fallout 4, MGS 5). The only things that make Witcher 3 stand out, are the story and the superb dialogue writing. The rest is average (quest design, level design) or even bad (combat, controls).
On the other hand, Bloodborne has probably the best leveldesign of those games, everything is interconnected and the combat feels fast, responsive and incredibly satisfying. The setting is also the most unique of the listed games. Sadly technical problems are preventing it from being the absolute GOAT.
Fallout 4 will probably suffer from the same problems as FO3 and, to some extend NV, which means: ♥♥♥♥ gunplay (although it seems like they've improved it a lot), ♥♥♥♥ writing (in FO3, NV was amazing in that regard), bugs, bad performance and copy'n'paste dungeons.
Still pretty unsecure about MGS 5, the story-telling is, according to some previews, pretty temperate, and I'm still skeptical about the open-world, since it could also suffer the same fate as the Ubisoft games.
One thing we can all agree on. MGS 5 TPP will be amazing.
As for me my taste splits into Genres of games. Don't really class MGS V as an RPG game with dungeons, monsters and magic. I'm happy loving all the different kinds of games. Gimmie shoot em' ups. Beat em' ups, racing games, MMO's i don't give a ♥♥♥♥, So long as its a well produced game thats value for money.
The GOTY is just a label that means nothing now a days. 10 games will have that label and even Arkham Knight will recieve a version, Guess you're fine having you're favorite game associated with that title. Well worth it isn't it? Kinda feel like you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on Witcher 3 by saying its GOTY. Who would want to be associated with that?
Personally im betting on FO4 getting more GotY , but only time will tell.
Two different games, one is basic fantasy game that has no relations, no intentions to transport message by story telling to the player of very important political content paired with the today best stealth game with great established story and game mechanics that had an massive impact on video game history and industry because it was the first game that was actually movie like, while other games can't with higher budgets even come close to quality and content of Metal Gear nor Metal Gear Solid. The other is a mere hype game just like all Assassins creeds after they ♥♥♥♥ them out every 6 month.
I haven't played Witcher 3 yet, but i've played Witcher and i dislicked the combat system and how annoying stupid it was compared with many others, not to mention that is like saying what is your favorite movie, where you have to pick only one single movie under millions with dozens of different genres with many good movies, such questions are stupid in my opinion.
