$75 For Canada?
What on earth is this? lol. Only version of the game is $75? Seriously?

I am a huge MGS fan and own every one of the games from the past, but $75 as the only option for this game on PC? A little to steep imo!

Yeah, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane. This isn't some super special edition with physical trinkets to go along with it, it's just vanilla digital PC edition. I'm pretty certain Konami will say say there were poor PC sales and blame this and that, and not once think that it is the price they are charging for it.

I was going to get it day one, but holy crap, $75? No way.

Our currency just keeps going down in value lately so prices appear to be going up.

When converted to USD it's actually cheaper than US price.
Currency, Current Price, Converted Price
Canadian Dollar, $74.99, $57.10
U.S. Dollar, $59.99, Base Price

Yeah, this is complete nonsense. Good thing GMG exists and is going to sell the game. With a discount and conversion, it shouldn't even come close to 75 bucks CDN.

Games are cheaper in Canada than the U.S if you convert the currency we pay like 4-5$ less per AAA game. You also have to consider our Min wage and other factors it's really not that bad. Plus our dollar is ♥♥♥♥♥.

Ya, I'll buy it from GMG as well with a coupon when it's available. I don't care about pre-order bonuses since I already have GZ, I have no intention to refund this game and it's a steam key GMG is selling.

Waow the amount of self entitlement and whining from CAD and GBP today...it's quite hilarious I have to say. You pay more for other games that have digital versions and don't see anyone whining about them lol. Let alone anyone from the US whining about us paying 59.99, which is less than your $75 lol.

Exactly. I've no doubt missed something over the years... when did games begin reaching the $70-80 mark?

Zodiac1911 Aug 3, 2015 @ 2:06pm
publishers don't want to price their games reasonably, just means i'll wait and wait for the cheap sales rather than jumping in right away.

it's their loss really. not mine.
