Blonde Kid?
I wes trying to find the info of who he is. The blonde kid shown from time to time, is that Liquid?

It's hinted heavily that it is, so it's safe to assume so.

For all we know it could be anyone of them. Liquid, Solid or Solidus. They are all young clones which look the same.

Popular opinion seems to be that it is indeed Liquid but as i said they all look the same and we don't even know who is in which shot that is shown to us in the trailers.

Well not Solid as he was given the same genes as BB. Liquid and Solidus were given the recessive genes. Thus the blonde.

Also Solidus & Solid never grew up around BB. Solid only found out about BB after he was told that BB was his father. Then killed BB.

Hmmm, really? It seems i have to catch up on everything MGS. Been a long time since i last played 1 and 2 at least.

Thanks for the info. Then i guess it's either Solidus or Liquid.

MrNobody is wrong, actually.

Solid received Big Boss' recessive genes. Liquid received the dominant. Despite this, they look identical save for their hair, and it's implied that Solid Snake might be a natural blonde (nothing confirmed, though).

Solidus is a genetic duplicate of Big Boss, identical to him in every way.

I'm afraid MrNobody was right to begin with. Liquid Snake received Big Boss' recessive genes. Solid Snake received the dominant. That's the entire reason that Liqud hates Solid so much. Envy. You're right about Solidus though, he is genetically identical to Big Boss.

i dont remember when, but somewhere was said that liquid really received the dominant genes

So, i looked it up just now the info is from a wiki so no guarantees but Solid got the inferior ones and Liquid the superior.

Solidus a mix of both which makes him the true clone of BB. I would have to replay or watch a LP to confirm 100% but i am not in the mood for that just now.

Did you turn off your PS1 before the post credits scene in MGS1? Ocelot confirms that Liquid had the dominant genes all along. He was just wrong about it the entire time.

Here's a good explanation for the theory behind Eli actually being Liquid, by the way.

Also worth noting his jacket in one of the trailers has the Japanese lettering for "Liquid" written on the back. That trailer was released after this image was made, which is why it's not on here.

This is right. Liquid has the dominant genes of Big Boss and Solid has the recessive. The only way that you'd think that Liquid has the recessive is if you just read the wikis, watched the videos on YouTube, or is a new Metal Gear fan.

I do have some strong opinions on this.

Remember how Liquid Snake used to complained how he had a tough life back in Afghanistan?
The Red Band trailer described "Eli- The Youth who cursed his fate."

While Solid Snake or Solidus didnt live around BB in their youth, its pretty safe to assume its Liquid snake

I tkink it's Ocelot who said to Solid Snake that he is the one who received the recessive genes not Liquid.
