But overall, I do believe it was a decent game, and storywise, it was interesting.
Peace Walker on the other hand isn't just a great handheld Metal Gear Solid game, but a great MGS game in its own right. It may as well have been called MGS5, because Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain are pretty much direct sequels to it.
Nothing is a direct sequel to Portable Ops. Portable Ops is the weird, red headed step child that the other games pretend doesn't exist.
It's very likely that MGSV will either ignore Portable Ops or actively retcon it.

Personally i wouldn't recommend anyone to buy a psp or vita to play that game tbh.
