Good luck fighting the guy with infinite HP.
eg say the guy wasnt cheating in ways that make it unplayable because if there was any kind of enforcement he would be banned for that
But using a trainer in offline mode to boost resources gives him a SIGNIFICANT boost in terms of equipment/secuirty, and i may be wrong but given previous games this kind of stuff isnt really enforced and it cant be server sided because it can be done offline so
idk its early to really say anything so its all speculation
Eh... what? I fought plenty of cheaters in DS2 while invading and in arena. They are more common in the arena settings though.
Haven't played for a while but i doubt that changed much.
Edit: No anti-cheat solution will kill leaderboards fast like in any other game. Can't really remember a single one which was not compromised.
The first few weeks it should hopefully be a bit playable with the FOB's and if it gets too extreme just turn it off. It's a crappy solution but nothing else you can do. Maybe the real cheater infestation only starts to appear after MGO is released, not saying that this would be any better though.
Cheaters in GTA are straight up banned, there is no "cheaters pool" only a bad player pool which consists of many different things even just trolling other characters.
Cheating in GTA is common place to the point that players getting banned is such a celebrated thing because Rockstar doesn't know their ass from their elbow when it came to designing their online system.
i hope some Personal Blacklist function add to FOB.
(base on steam community ban or UniqueCode id)
DS1-2 were held on a peer to peer network and had character data saved on your PC, data that is easily manipulated in a few seconds.
There are ways to get around that, it just depends if konami bothered to implement the systems for it.
Or if its server based which they havent bothered to say yet.
#offlineplayer.
Today's cheater seem to forget the actual purpose of cheating, if you want to cheat a game, never do it online, you'll end up spoiling the fun of others
