Legacy collection has the first 2 msx games by default.
He already knows it..
It's just, he loves to keep us waiting...
Um he no longer has any influence over the metal gear games. lol he doesnt work for koonami anymore. And Koonami owns the rights of the metal gear series.
Yes i know, i meant that not ALL games of MGS series are in the legacy collection.
(Portable Ops, AC!Ds, etc)
Maybe one day... Who knows..
Well...see what Konami is doing with their IP´s and tell me if there is still hope...
But, alas, hope is what dies last.
The only chance is if kojima buys the rights to metal gear from koonami. And barring koonami going bankrupt. The relationship between kojima and koonami has soured to a point that an amicable agreement will never be made.
Either Koonami pretty much going bankrupt so they will be willing to sell the franchise to anyone just to get some cash thus making it possible for kojima to buy it because koonami going bankrupt doesnt give koonami the position to ask more then its worth even to Kojima. Or Kojima will have to pretty much agree to whatever koonami ask for. Meaning Koonami will ask for alot more then its worth significantly more just because its Kojima. Thats if they are even willing to sell it to him. . And kojima would just have to pay it .
Im not saying its impossible. Because its not. After all all we are talking about is a game series rights. All it takes is money.
I am saying however it depends on a situation that is very unlikely to actually happen in the foreseeable future. .
If there ever will be any more metal gear games. Kojima will have nothing to do with it.
Kojima is kinda clever in some aspects. Also, he's not alone. He have a team full of company management advisors. I believe, personally, that Death Stranding was a plan of Kojima's team to raise money to buy the rights of Metal Gear from Konami.
By Kojima's history of life, he's not giving up so easily on a franchise he's been working since the "beguining of his career".
Im not a Kojima's fanboy to think that Kojima is a god or something (of course he is not). But this is not impossible, as you said and as we hope.
That was done in MGS 4...the only thing that is left to do in MGS is the remake of the MSX titles.
Not to mention that MGS5 opned more holes in the story than the ones it closed and that MG timeline is already a mess only a psycho would pretend to understand and find sesnse in it.
If they'll go on making stuff like Metal Gear Survive the franchise will die in agony and sorrow, if they hadn't fired Kojima there would have been another 20 MG in form of prequels, sequels, reboots, etc, etc, etc.
BTW +1
