Can also just goto ACC from the idroid and it doesnt charge you.
Considering how few situations need the chopper to get there right that moment, better off just using the tier 1 helicopter chassis, which costs barely anything.
The huge price increases of deploying with late game gear in general is pretty annoying. Deploying an upgraded D-Walker costs 30,000+, for example.
Having flares and rockets ready to be fired shouldn’t cost the resources to bring them out, it should already have costed you initially. Same goes for equipping rocket launchers and grenades etc. Why the upkeep costs if the ammo is not used causing a restocking fee? Its almost as if the ammo is thrown away after each mission lol.
Seems as if the game is forcing money expenditure just to give an illusion of an economic system and you don’t get bored with having too much money.
Extra weight =/= extra fuel =/= extra resources.
Welcome to commerce.
It actually does tell you if you go into the 'Customise' menu for the helicopter, you can see the total deployment cost. Same with D-Walker, I believe. :)
I know how it works, its just how the game forces upkeep for gear is illogical.
it's illogical to think your equipment is impervious to damage and needs no upkeep while you run/crawl through mud/oil/dirt/sand for days on end, thery might aswell give you infinite ammo on all guns instantly if this was the case.
Pretty sure it's supposed to give you the feel of upkeep though like maintenance, fuel usage and armanent supply. I mean I would like it better if it cost so much to pick up for fuel usage/weight and only cost extra if it's armanent was used depending on what the player has equipped it with along if it was damaged though.
Exactly...it is a part of managing your resources. Which is a cool wrinkle to give to a game wher eyou are running your own PMC.
