Can't Ever Retaliate?
Is anyone else noticing this? Every time I get on the game and see that my FOB has been raided, I try to retaliate and take some of my stuff back, but I never can.

The game always tells me that "This FOB is being infiltrated by another rival, and is currently blockaded. Wait a while and try again later."

Well, I've certainly done that... Inumerable times throughout each day. Are these guys just always under attack because they raid everyone or is this some kind of connection issue?

Gotta say, it's a little frustrated just having your stuff taken and then not being able to do anything about it.

On that note, here's another question.

Can rival PFs steal from your mother base pool or resources as well or are they just taking guards from your security force and extra resources from your base.

If it's possible to bleed me dry, then I'm with alot of other people in wanting to nuke the thing,

I'll get my resources from the single player game.

It's because they've been invading a lot of different people and one retaliated. That gives them temporary immunity to further invasions. It's a major flaw in the system. Invaders get the same immunity from constant invasions as people who don't invade, but they can invade other random people as often as they want during that safe time. They should change it so you lose your immunity/blockade when you invade someone who's not an existing rival or retaliation should always be available at least once.

And as far as stealing stuff, they can steal a lot of stuff if they reach your core. For instance, if someone invades your base development FOB platform they can fulton away literally 100% of your unprocessed materials and members of your defense team. When/if they reach your core they'll steal a bunch of random people from your main base development team. The only way to save specific people from this is setting them to direct contract, so put every high ranking staff member on direct contract and assume everyone not under direct contract (lock symbol) can/will be stolen by a rival.

The best way to handle being bled dry is to farm a bunch of resources right after you've been invaded so you can hurry up and process it all while you're immune to more invasions. The length of the immunity depends on how badly you were damaged.

Doesn't invasion of others regardless of target, void the protection?

I thought it did, I purposely go on an invasion spree to get people to attack me for some free GMP.

It should, but for some reason I rarely get a retaliation option when I'm invaded. I only have the option for the first guy who invaded me weeks ago. Just yesterday someone stole 44k fuel from my development platform and I have no option to retaliate. He was apparently spotted multiple times too. It's frustrating as hell.

You can't retaliate against someone who has nukes unless your heroism is at a certain level, could that be it?

The sorts of people who do FOB missions are constantly getting invaded by other people, because they do like 20, 30 FOB missions in a row and everyone retaliates against them.

I have the heroism level for nuke invasions. I think I was wrong about the detection looking at the log. Just having an intruder detected isn't enough for retaliation. They need to have your base go into full combat alert. If they're very careful and knock out all the guards/destroy UAVs they can just sit around extracting all your resources and there's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you can do about it.

You need some defenders :( jump in for a few rando's via support function and defend and if you're even halfway decent they'll do the same and support you back :)
